Airport Transportation
There are four options from/to the airport: private driver, taxi, rental car or the bus. Each has distinct advantages and characteristics. We generally recommend asking us to arrange a driver, but if you’re up for a bit more of an adventure, consider one of the other options.
Services
Cinética is a mashup between a hotel that doesn’t have a bar or restaurant, the world’s most awesome AirBnB, and a private home. Visiting us is a bit like visiting friends you haven’t seen in a long time. And you don’t have to make your bed, clean the bathroom or figure out where the beach towels should go.
Sayulita Mobility
We really encourage guests to rent a golf cart for local transportation. They are fun. They are easy to park. You’ll feel sorta like a local. The downside? $55/day, and they they won’t let you explore the surrounding area. But for beach/town/dinner/coffee hops, they are the best.
Water
All the water at Cinética goes through a 4-phase filtration process. If it comes out of a tap on our property, it’s safe to drink.
Activities
Like most small towns that have attracted tourists over the past few decades, Sayulita is a fairly active place. Surfing. Whale-watching. Yoga. Hiking. Fitness. Cooking classes. Tequila tasting. All readily available, and a big reason why so many people are attracted to the area.
Swimming Pool
Our heated, flat-bottomed, saline pool is about 4’ deep. Deep enough to jump, but shallow enough that it is safe for kids who know how to swim. Triathletes have swum laps in it. Our son learned to swim in it. Guests have fallen asleep on floating mats. We love it.
Beaches
Cinética sits between two of the loveliest beaches in all of Nayarit: Patzcuarito and Patzcuaro, each a relatively easy 15min jungle walk away. Almost private, wild, open-ocean facing with the jungle spilling right to the sand, these two beaches are serious locals’ favorites. Town features two busier beaches: Playa los Muertos and the Town beach. And close by are three more beaches, each accessible via a short hike. A beach lover’s heaven.
Kitchens
Each suite or casita has access to a full kitchen, perfect for longer stays or for people who want to have a bit more control over what, and when, they eat.
WiFi
Always a bit of a challenge in Mexico, and even more so in the jungle, we are fortunate to have a dedicated fiber-optic cable connecting us directly to the primary cell tower that serves our area. The result? One of the fastest, most stable internet connections in Sayulita.
